Site Levelling and Grading

Shaping a plot or yard to the required levels and falls so it is ready for building, parking or drainage.

About Site Levelling and Grading

Site Levelling and Grading

We level uneven ground by cutting high spots and filling low spots to the agreed levels, and then grade the surface so water drains away properly. The work is done with a dozer, grader, excavator or a combination, and compacted where the surface will carry loads.

What we do

  • Levels survey and agreement on the target formation levels
  • Cutting and filling to achieve the design levels
  • Grading of surfaces to the required falls for drainage
  • Compaction of fill and finished surface where specified
  • Re-spreading of topsoil where requested
  • Final level check against the agreed levels

What we need from you to quote

  • Plot size and location
  • Topographic survey or approximate existing slope
  • Required finished levels or intended use of the area
  • Soil type and any known problems such as black cotton soil or rock
  • Access for heavy plant
  • Required completion date
