Tree Felling

Safe, controlled felling of single trees or groups of trees on plots, farms and around buildings.

About Tree Felling

Tree Felling

We fell trees using methods suited to their size, lean and surroundings, working to keep people, buildings, power lines and neighbours safe. Larger trees are brought down in sections where there is not enough open space to drop them whole. Logs and branches can be cut up, stacked or hauled away.

What we do

  • Site inspection and risk assessment of each tree
  • Exclusion zone set up around the work area
  • Directional felling or sectional dismantling as the site demands
  • Cutting of trunks into logs and branches into manageable lengths
  • Clearing, stacking or hauling away of timber and brushwood
  • Check for overhead lines, roofs and boundaries before and after work

What we need from you to quote

  • Number, species and approximate height and girth of the trees
  • Exact position of each tree relative to houses, walls, roads and overhead power or phone lines
  • Whether any permission is needed, for example from the landlord, estate or local authority
  • Whether the timber is to be kept, sold or removed
  • Access for people and, if needed, machinery
  • Whether stumps are also to be removed
