Plant Transport and Low-Bed Services

Transport of excavators, dozers, graders, rollers and other heavy plant to and from site on low-bed trailers.

About Plant Transport and Low-Bed Services

Plant Transport and Low-Bed Services

Heavy plant cannot be driven on public roads, so it must be carried on a suitable low-bed trailer. We arrange loading, chaining, transport and off-loading with an experienced crew, paying attention to weights, heights and route restrictions.

What we do

  • Low-bed truck and trailer suited to the machine
  • Safe loading, chaining and off-loading
  • Route assessment for height, weight and width limits
  • Escort or warning signage where the load needs it
  • Transport permits as required for the load
  • Delivery to the specified site or yard

What we need from you to quote

  • Make, model and weight of the machine to be moved
  • Pick-up location and drop-off location
  • Preferred date and flexibility
  • Ground at both ends: can a low-bed trailer get in and load safely
  • Any bridges, low wires or tight bends known on the route
  • Whether the machine runs and can be driven onto the trailer
