About Demolition of Single-Storey Structures

Demolition of Single-Storey Structures

We demolish single-storey structures by hand tools or machine, working in a planned sequence from the roof downwards so the building comes down safely. Services are isolated first, neighbours and passers-by are protected, and rubble is sorted, reused or hauled away.

What we do

  • Site inspection and demolition method statement
  • Isolation of electricity, water and gas before work
  • Stripping and removal of roofing, doors, windows and fittings
  • Controlled demolition of walls and slabs
  • Sorting, loading and removal of rubble and waste
  • Site clearing, and removal of foundations if required

What we need from you to quote

  • Address and photos of the structure, with its approximate size and wall construction
  • Roof type, in particular whether it contains asbestos sheets
  • Services connected to the building and who can isolate them
  • Access and how close neighbouring buildings are
  • Whether materials such as bricks, timber or iron sheets are to be kept
  • Ownership documents or permission to demolish
