Generator Installation

Positioning, connection and commissioning of standby or prime-power generators, including the electrical and mechanical interface.

Generator Installation

We install your generator on a proper base with exhaust, fuel supply, cabling and protection, and connect it to your distribution through a changeover or transfer arrangement. The set is commissioned and load-tested before handover.

What we do

  • Site inspection and generator location advice
  • Plinth or base preparation and vibration isolation
  • Exhaust, ventilation and fuel line arrangements
  • Power cabling and connection to changeover or ATS
  • Earthing of the generator and neutral arrangement
  • Commissioning, load test and operator briefing

What we need from you to quote

  • Generator rating in kVA and whether it is already purchased
  • Voltage and phase (single or three-phase)
  • Site location, available space and access for delivery
  • Distance from generator position to the main board
  • Intended use: standby only or long-hour prime power
  • Any noise or enclosure requirements
