Dedicated Internet
Internet with capacity reserved for your organisation, not shared with other customers.
Dedicated internet gives you a committed link with symmetrical or agreed bandwidth, suited to offices, hosting and applications that cannot tolerate congestion. We help you specify the circuit, source it from a suitable carrier and configure your edge equipment. The service is usually paired with a backup link.
What we do
- Requirements analysis and bandwidth sizing
- Sourcing and coordination with the carrier
- Edge router and firewall configuration
- IP addressing plan and DNS guidance
- Acceptance testing against the agreed specification
What we need from you to quote
- Site address and building access details
- Required bandwidth and whether upload speed matters
- Applications to be supported, such as VoIP, cloud or hosted servers
- Need for static public IP addresses
- Whether a backup link is required
