Discovery
We mapped fiber ISP failover requirements, identified roof mount location with 110° clear sky, and confirmed power at IDF cabinet.
Installation day
- Roof mount and cable ingress with weatherproof gland
- Starlink router in DMZ; dual-WAN router configured (fiber primary, Starlink backup)
- SSID for guests isolated from corporate VLAN
- Speed test and failover drill documented for IT team
Outcome
Two fiber outages in the following month failed over to Starlink within 90 seconds with no ticket backlog. Client upgraded to a business plan for priority data.
